The autism insurance proposal which requires group insurance policies to cover autism treatment services (SB 178 and AB417) is beginning to move in the Legislature, and it is extremely important for legislators to hear from supporters of the bill. The bill is expected to be put on the schedule for the Senate Floor sometime this week.

Please contact your state senator and state representative as soon as possible and ask for his/her support for SB 178. In addition, please contact other family and friends and ask them to contact their state senator and state representative with the same request.

We will hold an Autism Insurance Rally at the State Capitol on Thursday, February 28th. We need to have a very strong presence that day, so please plan to attend with children, family and friends. More details on this event will be released very soon.
